The Colombia’s Attorney General, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, announced broad support for the peace process which is carried out by the Government with Farc and said that 50 arrest warrants against six new negotiators of the guerrillas were lifted.
During the Peace March, the official said that the entity totally supports the Government efforts to achieve peace in Colombia.
Accompanied by more than a thousand officials of the entity under his charge, Montealegre reiterated that peace is a commitment of everyone and especially the Attorney-General’s Office. Therefore, he asked the support of all Colombians to achieve the negotiated solution of the conflict. “It must be a commitment of every Colombian.”
