A precautionary measure consisting of a remand in custody was issued against the alleged member of the criminal gang Los Rastrojos, Freddy Rengifo Valois, alias Jair.
The group, which alias Jair would be part, exerts its criminal action in the municipalities of Cumbitara and Policarpa in the Nariño Department. The defendant did not accept charges for the crimes of aggravated conspiracy in conjunction with manufacture, trafficking and carrying of weapons of exclusive use of the Colombian armed force. Rengifo Valois was imprisoned in the national prison La Modelo in Bogota.
