Juan Manuel González Torres, former Governor for Meta department was given non-custodial measure by a delegated public Prosecutor before the Supreme Court of Justice for the offenses of embezzlement in series of similar crimes and contract without meeting all legal remedies.
According to the investigation, several contracts without meeting essential requirements allegedly signed during the first half of his Administration (July 4 to December 31st, 2006) with resources from royalties and compensation is attributed to the former Governor.
The facts are related to possible misappropriation in favor of third individuals of 28 billion pesos.
