The Deputy Attorney General of Colombia, Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres and representatives of the School of Studies and Criminal Investigations, and Forensic Sciences of the Colombia Attorney General Office and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, UNDOC, began this Monday, in Bogota, the Workshop: Methodology of the Criminal Investigation of phenomena related to Organized Crime.
The Attorney General of Colombia, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, the Attorney General of Nicaragua, Julio Centeno Gomez, and the Attorney-General of Costa Rica, Jorge Chavarría Guzmán, as well as Colombian and Central American prosecutors were present at the opening ceremony.
The aim of the workshop is to promote the exchange of information in criminal group investigation and organized crime manifestations and also, it intends to define general guidelines on methodologies used in the research of this kind of crime.
