Today, the Colombia Attorney General, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, has announced that the DNA sample taken to the minor, who allegedly adhered the Lapa bomb on the motor vehicle of the former Home Minister, Fernando Londoño Hoyos, matched up with blood found in a work coat left in the scene of the crime by the perpetrator.
Confirmation of the DNA matching was made by the Colombia National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, said Mr. Montealegre Lynett.
The minor has been affected by a detention measure, according to a determination taken by the competent authority.
