As requested by the Attorney General Office, 27 Penal Municipal Judge in Bogotá, acting as Supervisory Judge, has covered with a remand in custody to an official and a noncommissioned officer of the national army for his alleged responsibility in the assassinations of two individuals who were presented as Farc insurgents killed in combat.

According to the Prosecutor for Human Rights and IHL, in charge of the case, in September 2007, on Piamonte farm, Trocaderos village, Neira municipality (Caldas) were killed Janiot César Sepúlveda Ambito and Jairo Andrés Moreno Marin, individuals who, by deceit, were drove to that mentioned place.

During a pressing hearing, the Attorney General Office attributed charges to Edwin Javier Madroñero Quemba, captain at that time, and Manuel Alejandro Parra Estupiñán, Sergeant, as alleged responsible for the offences of murder in protected person, criminal association to commit a crime with the aim of homicide, traffic, manufacture and possession of firearms and ideological falseness in a public document.

Defendants were not agreed to accept charges and were detained in a special area in La Picota Prison in Bogotá.
