The defendant Edison García García, will serve a remand in custody imposed by the Fourth Criminal Court in Pereira city, acting as Supervisory Court, in the prison “La 40” in Pereira.
During the attribution hearing, García García was agreed to accept charges brought by Attorney General Office for the offence of manufacture, trafficking or possession of narcotic drugs.
The Individual, who was coming from Cali, was apprehended in flagrante delicto on last Sunday (August 12) on the road that leads from Cerritos province to the capital of Risaralda, once authorities persecuted him three kilometers due to the failure to comply with the signal of stops.
Once intercepted the vehicle, where supposedly a load of apples was carried by it, police officers seized 845 kilos of marijuana.
