Before 57 Municipal Penal Judge, acting as Supervisory Judge, the Attorney General Office brought charges against Diego Pérez Henao, as known as Diego Rastrojo, as alleged responsible for the offenses of aggravated criminal association aimed to drug trafficking, aggravated homicide; dealing, manufacture and posession of narcotics drugs; dealing, manufacture and possession of firearms and explosives for exclusive use of the army.
The Prosecutor in charge of the case, assigned to National Unit of Criminal Gangs, “Bacrim”, pointed out that Pérez Henao is an alleged responsible of the murder, at least, nine persons during facts happened between 2009 and 2011 in the departments of Valle del Cauca, Chocó and Cauca, where also it was achieved the seizure of firearms, ammunition, military material. Addittionaly, it was found, at least, 14 cocaine processing laboratories.
Former members of this gang pointed out Pérez Heano to have been the founder of “Los Rastrojos”, said the judicial officer,
At the end of the preliminary hearing of accusation, the defendant, apprehended on July 3, 2012 in Venezuela, was not agreed to accept the charges brought by the Attorney General Office.
