By request of 216 Prosecutor assigned to the Unit of Inmendiate Reaction (URI) in Tunjuelito area, the 25 Municipal Penal Judge in Bogotá, acting as Supervisory Judge, has pronounced a remand in custody to José Antonio Pinzón Ariza, alleged responsible for the offense of personal injuries.
The proceedings is related to what happened in El Portal neighborhood, Ciudad Bolívar district, on last August 11, when Pinzón Ariza, intoxicated with alcohol, crashed his car driven by him against Arnaldo Carrillo’s house and seriously injured to his wife, Mrs. Jennifer Salas. Also, several children were injured during a family party.
At the end of accusation hearing, Pinzón Ariza was not agreed to accept the charges and the Supervisory Judge transfered him to La Modelo national prison.
