Andrés Mauricio Castro Ramírez has been house arrested by order of the 43 Municipal Penal Judge en Bogotá, acting as supervisory judge, based on the charges brought by Attorney General Office for “eventually willful homicide and personal injures”.
The 279 prosecutor in URI(Units of Immediate Reaction) Paloquemao area in Bogotá, affirmed that Castro Ramírez is allegedly responsible for Nelson Enrique Pinzón Pinilla and Jaison Andrés Morales Rivera homicide, who were run over by a motor vehicle under the license plate BGA 777 driven by the defendant.
In accordance with the judicial official, the defendant was driving his motor vehicle over 80 km per hour, no lights on and his blood alcohol level was two grade.
The fact happened on the 24 x 57 streets, in front of Soccer Stadium “El Campín”, where Édgar Badillo, a young man ,was also injured in the same car accident while he was waiting for an autobus to go to Medellín, Antioquia to watch a soccer play.
In his decision, the supervisory judge took in consideration that the defendant should be arrested in home in order to serve the measure because this individual has no registered any background, any traffic penalties and he has a fixed dwelling.
At the end of the accusation hearing , Castro Ramírez, 31 years old, was not agreed to accept the charges.
