The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted Brandon Estiven Foronda Ríos as the alleged perpetrator of criminal conspiracy to commit a crime, homicide and manufacture, trafficking, and posession of firearms. All these conducts were aggravated.
According to the investigation, it s believed that the defendant is a member of the so-called ‘Los del Lindero’ criminal group, accused of committing homicides in the municipalities of La Victoria, La Unión, and Toro (Valle del Cauca).
A prosecutor appointed to the branch office of Valle del Cauca (Seccional Valle del Cauca) confirmed that Foronda Ríos was a member of the above criminal group between January and June 2024, and they allegedly murdered eight people and seriously injured another citizen.
The Office of the Attorney General, in coordination with Sijín-National Police, arrested Foronda Ríos on September 8 in Sevilla (Valle del Cauca).
The alleged suspect must serve a prison sentence by virtue of a court order.
