The evidence provided by the Office of the Attorney General allowed a judge to sentence foreign citizen Eduar José Valero Hernández to 10 years in prison for making an attempt on someones’s life in Tauramena (Casanare). 

The Office of the Attorney General demonstrated that this man is responsible for the crimes of manufacturing, trafficking, or possessing firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition; and personal injury. 

The investigation proved that the facts took place on October 4, 2021, in a public establishment in the above mentioned municipality, where Valero Hernández, in the midst of an argument, attacked a man, shooting him and wounding him resulting in a 14-day sick leave. 

Valero Hernández was disbarred from the practice of law and public functions for the same term of the main conviction. 

This is a decision of first instance and an appeal can be lodged.
