The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted eight alleged members of Los Santos criminal group, who were allegedly involved in local drug trafficking in San Francisco (Cundinamarca) since September 2024.
A prosecutor appointed to the Support Structure (Estructura de Apoyo EDA) of the branch office in Cundinamarca (Seccional Cundinamarca) charged them with aggravated criminal conspiracy, and trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics. None of the defendants pleaded guilty.
The investigation revealed that these individuals were apparently responsible for the sale and distribution of hallucinogens at fixed locations, arranged with buyers, and through home deliveries.
Those charged are Dora Ivonne Arango Abello, Johan Mauricio Pérez Arango, Cindy Angélica Arango Bello, Hamilton Torres Torres, Riyer Contreras Cabana, Alfonso Arévalo Medina, José Santos Herrera López and Eder Luis Miranda Julio.
A judge sent three of the defendants to prison. The other five people will remain linked to the process.
