The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted Estiven de Jesús Luna de Moya, alias El Peluca or El Mexicano who is believed to be the author of the attack on a 33-year-old woman in Malambo (Atlántico) on June 15, 2022.

In this regard, a prosecutor appointed to the so-called Unidad de Vida of the branch office in Atlántico (Seccional Atlántico) charged him with attempted aggravated homicide; manufacturing, trafficking, or possessing firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition; threatening witnesses; and aggravated extortion.

The investigation established that the defendant allegedly ordered the armed attack against the victim, who was seriously injured and taken to a municipal hospital, where she was hospitalized for 15 days due to the injuries.

The evidence indicates that alias El Peluca, 25, was allegedly extorting the woman on behalf of a criminal organization, for more than 100 million COP.

A judge approved the Office of the Attorney General’s request and issued a new prison sentence for him. He was informed of this measure at the prison of Jamundí (Valle del Cauca), where he was deprived of his liberty for other offenses.
