The Attorney General’s Office brought Luis Felipe Pérez Vélez, to justice in Caicedonia (Valle del Cauca). He is an alleged member of the Los Claros criminal group involved in petty drug trafficking in this part of the country.  

The Office of the Attorney General charged Pérez Vélez with aggravated criminal conspiracy and drug trafficking, manufacturing, or drugs possession.

The evidence indicates that the defendant was involved in the sale of narcotics, particularly in Gramalote and Bolívar neighborhoods of the aforementioned municipality.

National Police arrested Pérez Vélez on March 9 at a gas station in San Pedro (Valle del Cauca).

The judge approved the Prosecutor’s Office’s request and ordered the defendant to serve a prison sentence.
