The Office of the Attorney General prosecuted Luis Felipe Aquino Romero, for his alleged responsibility in the crime of qualified and aggravated robbery. This person would be involved in multiple jewelry robberies, in facts that took place in Ocaña (Norte de Santander).

Aquino Romero was arrested in flagrante on February 8 by the National Police, after robbing a chain valued at five million pesos, in a commercial establishment located downtown.

According to the investigation, this man would be involved in several robberies that took place in four commercial establishments between October and December 2024, and two last facts that took place in January and February.

Judicial police work, including photographic identification and analysis of security cameras, allowed the identification of this person. It is believed that he participated in robberies in which he took jewelry such as chains, bracelets and earrings that cost close to 30 million COP.

A judge imposed a prison sentence.
