At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Jaider Eduardo Cardona Jiménez, alias El Simpson, who is allegedly responsible for cattle rustling in Arjona (Bolívar).
In this sense, a prosecutor charged him with cattle rustling. The defendant did not plead guilty.
According to the investigation, the facts took place on November 29, 2022, in a farm located at Buena Vista area, in Sincerín. There, the defendant, along with other people, allegedly took some livestock, valued at more than 100 million COP, and transported them in trucks to a slaughterhouse in Soledad (Atlántico).
By virtue of a court order, Cardona Jiménez was arrested by the National Police in the San Rafael de la Cruz neighborhood in Arjona.
