The suspect is accused of stealing farm animals, tools and harvest products of several inhabitants of Guamo.
At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Juan Camilo Gutiérrez, alias El Zorro, alleged responsible for the crime of qualified theft. He allegedly committed the crime repeatedly in the rural area of Pringamosal in Guamo (Tolima).
According to the investigation, he allegedly committed several thefts between July and October 2024. In one of the facts, he apparently took advantage of the fact that a local resident was leaving a farm to take her son to school, and the defendant took at least nine farm animals, in three different occasions.
On the other hand, it seems that ‘El Zorro’ also took several bags of lemon and cassava, as well as tools and other items, valued at nearly 6 million COP, from an elderly person in the area.
The Office of the Attorney General associated the facts and prosecuted this person, who did not plead guilty.
