The evidence presented by the Attorney General’s Office allowed a judge to sentence Dany Pinzón Restrepo, a member of the criminal organization known as Fortaleza, to 18 years and 2 months in prison for his responsibility in three homicides and other criminal conducts, in Dosquebradas (Risaralda).
A specialized prosecutor demonstrated that the defendant participated in the murder of a man on March 9, 2022 in Pereira and in the murder of two other victims, on July 20, 2022 in Los Pinos neighborhood, in Dosquebradas.
Pinzón Restrepo was found guilty of criminal conspiracy and homicide, both aggravated; forced disappearance; manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition; and trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics.
This criminal organization had a hard blow since 10 of its alleged members were recently prosecuted. This network would be involved in the sale of narcotics and in the commission of selective homicides in the neighborhoods of Miraflores, Dorado and San Luis (Pereira); as well as in the sectors of Los Pinos, Frailes and Guamos in Dosquebradas (Risaralda).
