The Attorney General’s Office charged Arley Estiben Muñoz Cano and Rafael Antonio Correa Ceballos with trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics before a judge in Obando (Valle del Cauca).
The decision comes after both people were caught in fragrant by Traffic Police officers while they were traveling in a private vehicle on the road that leads from Andalucía to Cerritos, north area of Valle del Cauca.
During an inspection of the vehicle, the authorities found 111 packages of marijuana in the rear seat and the trunk. The substance and the vehicle were seized.
The judge, after accepting the request made by the prosecutor assigned to the Sectional Office in Valle del Cauca, ordered prison for both people.
