At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge sent Carlos Daniel Hurtado Guzmán to prison since he was allegedly involved in the murder of two men, father and son, that took place on December 30, 2023 in Cali (Valle del Cauca).
A sectional prosecutor charged Hurtado Guzmán, 31, with double homicide (aggravated), and manufacturing, trafficking and possession of firearms or ammunition, after being arrested on January 10 by the National Police, in Valle del Cauca.
The facts took place when the victims, 62 and 42, respectively, were spending time in the front yard of their house, located in the so-called Unión de Vivienda Popular neighborhood, where the defendant allegedly arrived and allegedly shot them repeatedly, causing their deaths.
