At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence on four alleged members of a criminal group called Los Gnomos, which would be involved in petty drug dealing in Buga (Valle del Cauca).

A prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Valle del Cauca charged them with conspiracy to commit crimes and trafficking and possession of narcotics. None of the defendants pleaded guilty to the charges.

The people involved are: Alexánder Moreno Gil, alias Rolo, who would be the ringleader; Claudia Marcela Basabe Díaz, alias Marcela; José Ismael Pérez López, alias Pelos; and Yadir Esneider Calle Benítez, alias Calle.

These people were arrested during judicial proceedings conducted by the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) and the National Police, in Bogotá and Buga.

According to the investigation, between May and August of this year, the defendants apparently sold narcotic substances in different sectors of Buga.

Alias ​​Rolo was in charge of receiving the drugs and distributing them to drug dealers. Later, together with other members of the organization, he was apparently in charge of collecting the money from the sale.
