At the request of a prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Bolívar, a judge imposed a prison sentence on four people who would be responsible for the crime of trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics.

The people involved are:  Leonel Antonio Morales Acosta, alias Papá Leo, 29 years old; his sentimental partner, Karen Patricia Marriaga Carrillo, alias La Pequeña, 32; and the brothers Ismael and Luis Alberto Olivero Carrillo, 30 and 24 years old, respectively.

The investigation showed that the defendants would be selling cocaine, bazuco and marijuana since three years ago at homes in the so-called Paraíso neighborhood of the municipality of Turbaco (Bolívar). They would also be responsible for carrying out illegal actions to have territorial control to commit crimes in the area.

The defendants were arrested by the National Police during three search warrants, in which different quantities of narcotics were also found. During the preliminary hearings, the defendants pleaded guilty to the charges that were brought by the Office of the Attorney General. The sentence must be served at the so-called San Sebastián Ternera prison in Cartagena.
