At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Johan Camilo Parra Mosos, alias Sonrisa Falsa; and Jacqueline Mosos Ramírez, alias Chiqui or Mona, who would be in charge of selling drugs downtown Neiva.
A prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Huila charged them with manufacture, trafficking and aggravated possession of firearms or ammunition; and trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges.
According to the investigation, the illegal activities were carried out mainly from a house in Los Mártires neighborhood of Neiva. A search warrant was carried out in this place by the National Police, therefore, several doses of marijuana ready to be distributed in the so-called ‘plazas de vicio’ (vice areas) were seized. The drugs were camouflaged in black bags and wraped in transparent paper.
During the operations, 19 million COP in cash were also found, a sum that would be related to the illegal activity. In addition, a firearm and its ammunition were seized.
