The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted five people for their alleged responsibility in local drug trafficking in Pasto (Nariño). Among those prosecuted are two women.

People involved are: Carlos Andrés Pabón Cortés, Sofía Araujo Caicedo, Jhonatan Steven Montoya Amaya, Daniela Elizabeth Bolaños Ramírez and Jeison Alexánder Ketama Campos, who were charged by the Office of the Attorney General with manufacture, trafficking or possession of drugs.

The defendants were arrested in four search warrants by National Police on September 19 in Nariño. During the operation, some narcotics, cash, cell phones and items to measure doses of drugs were seized.

The three men must serve a prison sentence and both women must serve house arrest according to judge’s decision.
