Cristopher Rivera Olivar was prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office as the alleged responsible for the attempted murder of a man in Popayán (Cauca). The Office of the Attorney General charged the defendant with aggravated attempted murder.
The facts took place on June 14, 2020 in Los Sauces neighborhood, where in an attempted robbery, the defendant allegedly attacked the victim with a sharp weapon. Judicial police work allowed the Office of the Attorney General to establish the identity of the alleged attacker, who was riding a motorcycle on the day of the incident.
After requesting his arrest, officers of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), the Police and the Army in a public street in Popayán, arrested Rivera Olivar on September 3rd.
The defendant must serve his sentence in prison by decision of a judge.
