A prosecutor appointed to the Directorate specialized in the fight against Criminal Organizations obtained evidence that Jefferson Bacilio Taquinas Jaramillo, alias Pájaro or Junior, one of the alleged leaders of the Dagoberto Ramos Ortiz structure of the Farc dissidents, would be responsible for several terrorist acts in northern area of Cauca.

This person was charged with aggravated criminal conspiracy and terrorism. He did not plead guilty to the charges. Likewise, he was sentenced to prison by virtue of a decision made by the judge.

Since 2022, alias Pájaro or Junior was allegedly in charge of a group of armed men accused of monitoring the movements and positions of the public force, and coordinating attacks with explosives.

In this regard, he is accused of activating a motorcycle bomb on February 14, 2022, in the main park of Caloto (Cauca). This action caused considerable damage to the rectory of the town, several houses and the police station.
