The alleged perpetrator would have tried to incriminate her mother after the commission of the crime.

At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge sentenced Laura Estefanía Barrero Reyes to prison for her alleged liability for the murder of her father, in Madrid (Cundinamarca) on August 18th.

The investigation showed that the alleged perpetrator had a discussion with her father, whom she allegedly wounded on several occasions until he died. Once the National Police arrived at the scene, the defendant tried to avoid her responsibility by incriminating her mother. Finally, she was arrested in flagrant.

Barrero Reyes did not plead guilty to the crimes charged by a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Cundinamarca.
