This is about Iván Ignacio Largo Trochez, who would be responsible for holding a member of the National Police and a woman prisoner. She was finally murdered.

A prosecutor from the Directorate specialized in the fight against Criminal Organizations brought Iván Ignacio Largo Trochez, alias Nacho, before a judge in Cali (Valle del Cauca). He is an alleged leader of the Jaime Martínez structure of the Farc dissidents, who would be involved in the commission of selective homicides, kidnappings, attacks against the public force and forced displacements in Valle del Cauca and northern area of Cauca.

According to the investigations, Nacho would be responsible for the kidnapping of the patrolman Eleazar Smith Vargas Ladino, on April 10, 2022, in the rural area of El Placer, in Dagua (Valle del Cauca).

He is also accused of holding a woman prisoner on June 18, 2022, in the sector known as Queremal, also in Dagua, who appeared dead three days later. Subsequently, the victim’s family was allegedly threatened and forced to leave the property where they lived.

For these facts, a prosecutor from the Special Directorate against Criminal Organizations charged alias Nacho with aggravated criminal conspiracy, kidnapping and forced displacement. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges and must serve a sentence in prison.
