At the request of prosecutors of the Sectional Office in Bolívar, judges imposed a prison sentence on two men who would be involved in three murders that took place in Cartagena.

These are independent facts in which, according to their individual responsibilities, the Office of the Attorney General charged the defendants with homicide, qualified theft and manufacture, trafficking or possession of a firearm, all aggravated.

Among the arrested people is Luis Fernando Galán Gómez, alias Bemby, 23, who allegedly entered a car wash in El Bosque neighborhood on December 13, 2023. There, he allegedly shot at an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. The arrest was carried out by the National Police.

Sebastián Andrés Gómez Batista was also brought before justice since in the company of another person allegedly shot a man to steal his motorcycle. The victim, 24, died while was treated at a medical center. The arrest of the defendant, 20, was carried out in flagrante delicto by police officers.

None of the defendants pleaded guilty to the charges.
