The Office of the Attorney General brought Ximena Martínez Jaramillo before justice in Antioquia. She is allegedly responsible for her partner’s murder. The facts took place on August 18 in a hotel in the municipality of Anzá (Antioquia).

During the fight, the defendant allegedly took a sharp weapon with which she allegedly attacked her partner, a 26-year-old doctor. The severity of the injuries in his chest caused the victim’s death.
Martínez Jaramillo, a 37-year-old accounting assistant, who had a facial wound, was arrested by the National Police.
The Office of the Attorney General charged her with simple homicide. She did not plead guilty to the charges. A judge imposed house arrest.
