A prosecutor belonging to the Sectional Office in Vichada prosecuted Belzy Esther Conde and Ángel Geovanny Joropa Daza who were arrested when they were transporting 1.5 kilos of marijuana on a motorcycle.
National Police arrested both people during police patrol carried out on July 30 in El Progreso neighborhood in Puerto Carreño (Vichada).
The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with manufacture or drug possession. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges. The judge issued a detention measure in prison against the woman while the man will remain linked to the criminal proceeding.
