At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Andrea Paola Meza López, alias La Veneca; and the Colombian citizens Juan David Guzmán López and William Stiven Cano Arenas, allegedly responsible for participating in the homicide of a 55-year-old woman, in the area of Bolombolo de Venecia (Antioquia)
The facts took place on July 25 when the victim was attacked with a firearm. In the same incident, a 28-year-old man was injured. The investigation showed that the attack was against the survivor of the attack, who alerted the authorities. The defendants were arrested, and a revolver was found in their possession. A prosecutor belonging to the Sectional Office in Antioquia charged them with homicide, attempted homicide, both aggravated, and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms for self-defense. Defendants pleaded guilty to the charges.
