The Attorney General’s Office brought Carlos Julio Lizarazo Sepúlveda, alias Lizarazo, an alleged member of the support network of Adán Izquierdo FARC’s dissidents that committed crimes in the center and north area of Valle del Cauca.
Alias Lizarazo would be in charge of basic supplies, the storage of war elements and the supply of information about the movements of the Public Force. It is believed that these reports were handed over to the leaders of the illegal armed group.
The defendant was arrested in a search warrant procedure carried out by the Police and the National Army in rural area of La Delgadita in Guadalajara de Buga.
During these proceedings, there was a shootout between the defendant and the authorities, which caused a wound in one of his arms, therefore, he was transferred to a healthcare center.
A 38 caliber firearm, ammunition, cell phones and elements to manufacture explosives were seized.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime, and manufacture, trafficking or possession of firearms and ammunition. The judge imposed a prison sentence.
