A judge sentenced a 67-year-old man to 41 years and 3 months in prison for the murder of his 36-year-old daughter.
The crime took place on November 13, 2022 in the rural area of La Pedregosa of the municipality La Esperanza (Norte de Santander) where the convicted man attacked the victim on two occasions with a sharp weapon.
The investigation revealed that the defendant attacked her daughter because he saw her talking to a man with whom, it is believed, she had a romantic relationship.
The defendant was arrested by the National Police. The Office of the Attorney General charged him with aggravated femicide. He did not plead guilty.
