The incident allegedly occurred in retaliation for an attack against another person that took place in Cuatro Esquinas neighborhood in Ambalema (Tolima).
A judge imposed a prison sentence against Johan Esteban Tribiño Ramírez, 19, as the alleged perpetrator of a homicide committed on July 7, 2024 in the so-called Centro de Ambalema neighborhood in Tolima.
The incident occurred in front of a commercial establishment where a man known as alias Chiva was murdered.
Tribiño Ramírez was arrested in flagrante delicto and was found in possession of a traumatic weapon with ammunition that was modified with lead to increase lethality.
The information that was collected shows that the homicide of the 36-year-old man was allegedly conducted in retaliation for the attack that another person had suffered a day before in rural area of Cuatro Esquinas in Tolima.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with homicide and manufacture, trafficking or possession of firearms or ammunition. He did not plead guilty to the charges.
