The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted five alleged members of the Bolton criminal group, which are involved in petty drug dealing in areas with a great number of farmers in Santuario (Risaralda).
People who are involved are José Nolberto Restrepo Villegas, Santiago Zapata Suaza, Juan Gabriel Valle Muñoz, Héctor Alexander Berrio Villada and Juan Carlos Ceballos Valencia.
According to the investigation, the defendants were allegedly involved in offering illicit substances to farmers, coffee harvesters, and students in the municipality through the modality of home delivery since 2023.
Those investigated were charged with trafficking, manufacture or drug possession.
At the request of a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Risaralda, a judge imposed a prison sentence on four of the alleged suspects and house arrest on Valle Muñoz.
