The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted Bryan Esteban Molano Ospina before a judge as the alleged responsible for the homicide of a man on May 3rd, in Yumbo (Valle del Cauca).
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the facts took place in a home located in La Nueva Estancia neighborhood, where the victim was spending time with his family and friends. Molano Ospina allegedly obtained the weapon used to attack the victim and transported the alleged aggressor on a motorcycle.
The arrest warrant against Molano Ospina was conducted during a search warrant that was ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office and carried out by National Police. In the operation, the authorities seized narcotic substances, ammunition, among other items.
Due to these facts, a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Valle del Cauca charged the arrested person with aggravated homicide; manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition; and trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics. He did not plead guilty to the charges.
The judge approved the request made by the Prosecutor’s Office and issued a prison sentence.
