At the request of a prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Bolívar, the detention measures against seven people were issued by judges. They are allegedly involved in petty drug dealing in that department.

·         One of the judicial decisions was pronounced against five alleged members of the criminal group Los Comisionistas that allegedly sell narcotics in Cartagena´s Historic Center. For these sales, they allegedly received commissions from the night clubs in the sector. This generated profits of approximately 3 million COP per day.

The defendants are: Eduard Alexander Rincón Porto, Sol María Pérez, Jorge Eliécer Arias Tapias, Deivis Javier Romero Bravo, alias El Garfield; and Víctor José Borja Faneite, alias Tomate; who were arrested by National Police. 168 bags of coca, 31 marijuana cigarettes and cash were found in their possession.

·         Likewise, Haggen Antonio Ugarriza Lozano, alias Habb; and Cristóbal Restrepo Bloise, alias El Viejo were prosecuted. Their arrest was achieved during two raids that were carried out in the rural area of La Boquilla where they sold nearly 5,000 doses of narcotics per month, generating an illegal income close to 60 million COP.

During the raids, cocaine, marijuana, medicines, baggies, and a scale were seized.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged the defendants, in accordance with their individual responsibilities, with criminal conspiracy and manufacturing, drug trafficking. They pleaded guilty to the charges. By virtue of a judicial order, they must serve detention orders.
