At the request of a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Casanare, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Dávinson Flórez Cuello, alias chato, and Yaifa Tatiana Ramírez Vieda, alias La huilense, who were allegedly involved in the commission of several homicides and other crimes in three departments.
The facts took place between July and August 2023, a period in which three men were murdered in Yopal (Casanare).
However, alias Chato would be related to other homicides in Casanare, Meta and Cundinamarca, as well as extortion and control of routes for drug trafficking, acting on behalf of the Clan del Golfo.
The arrest of Flórez Cuello and Ramírez Vieda took place on June 8 in the El Porvenir neighborhood of Villavicencio (Meta), after being monitored by investigators from Police and the Prosecutor’s Office.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with aggravated homicide, aggravated extortion and illegal possession of weapons. They did not plead guilty to the charges
