After a preliminary agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office, a judge sentenced Jordan Stiven Montoya Torres to 18 years in prison for the crime of homicide.

The facts took place on September 11, 2022 in the Nueva Colombia neighborhood of Piedecuesta (Santander), where the 43-year-old victim was attacked with a sharp weapon when tried to mediate in a fight.

The victim, who was not participating in the fight, died due to the severity of the injuries.

Montoya Torres, 27, pleaded guilty after knowing the evidence the Family had against him.
