The Attorney General’s Office, through the Sectional Office in Cundinamarca dealt a hard blow to the micro-trafficking network known as Los Ratoncitos. The investigation shows that this organization would be responsible for selling marijuana, bazooka and cocaine in residential areas of Flandes (Tolima).
Ten of its alleged members were arrested in search warrants carried out in coordination with the National Police. Likewise, the arrest of a minor who was involved in the illegal activities was achieved.
The evidence shows that ‘Los Ratoncitos’ focused their illicit activity in parks and near school in the Las Rosas neighborhood in the aforementioned municipality. It was also evident that they exploited minors who were forced to use hallucinogens, and then involved them in the sale.
Prosecutor’s Office charged the defendants according to the degree of responsibility with aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime; trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics; and use of minors to commit crimes.
The defendants must serve custodial sentence.
The arrested teenager was placed under the authority of a juvenile court judge.
