Alias Paolo would also be involved in displacement and usurpation of property in ‘comuna 6’ and 7 of Medellín.

Investigations carried out by the Attorney General’s Office in conjunction with DIJIN- National Police, revealed the criminal actions committed by Jhoan Hurtado Ibarguen, alias Paolo o Sebas, alleged leader of the ‘Robledo’ criminal group. He was found responsible for multiple illegal actions in Medellín and Valle de Aburrá.

This man would be the main coordinator of selective homicides, extortions, drug trafficking, usurpation of property and forced displacement of families in ‘comuna 6’ and 7 of Medellín. Likewise, he would be involved in shipping tons of cocaine hydrochloride from the Colombian Caribbean to Central America, the Netherlands and other destinations in Europe.

The evidence indicates that Paolo or Sebas, apparently, used resources from the illegal structure to pay some members of the public force and public servants to alert them about the actions of the authorities against him.

Therefore, a prosecutor from the Specialized Directorate against Criminal Organizations brought him before a judge and charged him with conspiracy to commit a crime for the purposes of trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics, and forced displacement.
