He allegedly participated in the activation of an explosive device in San José del Guaviare.
At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Joiner David Quintero Guzmán, a Venezuelan citizen who would be involved in the activation of an explosive in Guaviare.
This man would be part of the Jorge Briceño Suárez structure of FARC dissidents. On April 25, he apparently activated a device on a public road in Porvenir neighborhood, San José del Guaviare. Later, he escaped but was intercepted a few blocks away by National Police.
At the time, Quintero Guzmán admitted being the author of the violent attack and indicated the place where another explosive was hidden.
Therefore, a prosecutor from the Directorate specialized in the fight against Criminal Organizations charged him with terrorism. He pleaded guilty to the charges.
