A judge sentenced Washington Muñoz Ramírez to 18 years and four months in prison, for the murder of a yogurt seller, which occurred on January 31, 2023, in Cali (Valle del Cauca).

The evidence collected by the Prosecutor’s Office allowed the convicted man to accept his responsibility for being the person who rode a motorcycle and shot, on several occasions,  the victim when he was preparing to get in a vehicle for the distribution of yogurt in Popular neighborhood in Valle del Cauca. The Prosecutor’s Office established that the victim was defenseless and distracted.

Muñoz Ramírez was condemned for the crimes of aggravated homicide and aggravated manufacture, trafficking and possession of firearms.

In the same sentence, the judge decided that the convicted man must serve his sentence in a prison, without any kind of benefit.
