Investigations allowed to establish the existence of a criminal group that sold around 2,000 monthly doses of narcotics in a home in Palestine neighborhood in Cartagena (Bolívar).
Due to a home search carried out by the National Police at the residence on March 6, three men were arrested in flagrante delicto and 180 bags of cocaine, 200 bags of marijuana ready to distribute, as well as a scale and cash were found.
For this reason, a prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Bolívar prosecuted Leiner Javier Durán Marrugo, alias El Ojón, Luis Adría Moreno Marrugo and Sergio Luis Marrugo Arévalo as allegedly responsible for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of drugs.
During the preliminary hearings, a judge ordered that only the first person will be under a security measure in a prison during the process. The other two obtained non-custodial measures and will remain linked to the investigation.
