The Prosecutor’s Office in Norte de Santander prosecuted a man as allegedly responsible for the murder of his own two-month-old son who died on November 11, 2022 in a health care center.

According to the National Institute of Legal Medicine examination the minor’s death occurred due to a skull fracture, which made it possible to establish the father’s alleged responsibility for his death.

The man, who was in charge of taking care of the minor while the mother worked, was arrested on March 15 by court order by CTI investigators in coordination with the National Police. The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with the crime of aggravated homicide.

A judge imposed a measure of deprivation of liberty in a prison against the individual who did not plead guilty.
