A prosecutor assigned to the Sectional Office in Magdalena, in compliance with the commitment made by the Interim Attorney General, Martha Janeth Mancera, to clarify crimes that affect citizen security, has prosecuted Cristian José Caballero Guette, 35, as allegedly responsible for a homicide committed on a public street in Ciénaga (Magdalena).

The facts investigated occurred on March 8 in the Córdoba neighborhood of the aforementioned municipality. The investigation allowed us to establish that the defendant would be allegedly responsible for shooting at a motorcycle taxi driver, who died as a result of this attack.

The community’s intervention made it possible to locate the alleged aggressor, who was arrested by the National Police a few blocks from the scene of the homicide.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged Caballero Guette with intentional homicide and illegal possession of firearms.

By decision of the judge, the defendant will serve a prison sentence.
