A judge sentenced Raúl Alberto Malambo Hernández to 31 years and 6 months in prison for the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking or possession of a firearm.
The facts took place on August 30, 2022, in the Olaya Herrera neighborhood of Cartagena (Bolívar), where two men on a motorcycle shot at a man who was in his vehicle in the company of his two-year-old stepson and caused their death.
Investigative work allowed us to establish that the attack was carried out due to revenge by illegal groups.
Malambo Hernández was arrested by the National Police in a chase after committing the crime.
