Preliminary investigations show that the man allegedly belongs to an organized crime group in the north area of Tolima.
Members of the Technical Investigative Corps of the Local Unit in Honda (Tolima) in coordination with police members arrested Daniel Andrés Reinoso Morales in San Sebastián de Mosquera neighborhood (Cundinamarca) by virtue of a court order that was in force to serve a sentence for the crime of illegal manufacturing, trafficking or possession of firearms or ammunition.
The defendant, known as alias ‘Piocho’, is investigated for the facts that occurred on February 28 of this year in Carmen de Honda neighborhood, when he was arrested in flagrante delicto with two revolvers with 10 ammunition and six cartridges.
The man was arrested in Cundinamarca by CTI members and Police.
That day the community claimed that two individuals riding a black motorcycle fired shots at a bakery in the area and then they fled. This is how a patrol located them and arrested Reinoso Morales the person who was at the back seat.
Thanks to the evidence collected by the investigators, charges were brought and a prison sentence was imposed.
Other proceedings are underway in the investigation stage against the detainee that would reveal his alleged participation in an organized crime group involved in the commission of homicides, extortion and related crimes committed in the north area of Tolima.
